Methodology
What we will and will not publish, where the numbers come from, and what happens when we get something wrong.
Sourcing
Every factual claim about an agency carries a source and the date it was checked. Agency pricing, team size and client rosters go stale within months, so an undated figure is close to useless.
- We cite the agency's own pricing, service and case-study pages first.
- We use public filings, job listings and procurement records where they reveal something the marketing pages do not.
- We do not cite other review sites or directories as evidence. They have the same incentive problem we are trying to avoid, and citing them launders an unsourced number into a sourced-looking one.
- Where a number cannot be sourced, it does not go in a comparison table.
Estimates and hidden prices
Most agencies do not publish prices. Where an agency does, we quote the price a visitor can see on its site and date it. Where it does not, we either give our estimate, labelled "our estimate" in the price itself and based on team size, location, client tier and any public contract values, or we say the price is not published when there is nothing to base a figure on. An estimate never sits unmarked beside published prices, because a table implies all of its cells are the same kind of fact.
Right of reply
An agency can dispute anything factual here. Send the claim and the evidence to info@bestagencycompare.com. If the evidence holds up we correct the page, move its updated date forward, and note the change. What we do not do is remove a fair, sourced criticism because the subject asked.
Corrections
Corrections happen on the page itself rather than quietly. If a score moves by a full point or more, the review keeps a dated note explaining what changed. If you spot an error, email the page URL and the issue to info@bestagencycompare.com.
Machine-readable summaries
This site publishes /llms.txt and /api/ai.json so that answer engines can cite it accurately rather than paraphrasing a cached copy. Both are generated from the same content as the pages, so they cannot drift.
