Best branding agencies in the UK
desk research from public sources- Seven UK agencies that list branding, ordered by how central brand work is to what they sell and how much of it they can show.
- Drummond Central leads on recent campaign evidence, but it is an advertising-led branding agency with no web design service and no published prices.
- Toast Design is the only entry that publishes brand prices: brand identity design from £960 and logo and brand design from £1,440 as minimum charges.
- Four of the seven (Edge Studio, Solve, morphsites and Framework Design) are web agencies that also list branding. 93FT is a design studio covering brand, packaging and interiors. Six of the seven publish no price for branding work, so budget guidance here is our estimate where stated.

Prices checked October 2026. Estimates say so in the price itself. How we choose agencies: our method.
How we picked these
Eligible agencies are UK-based and list branding as a service, with branding work visible in a portfolio or service page. Seven qualified for this page, and they are different kinds of agency. Drummond Central and 93FT are creative and design studios. Toast Design builds brand work alongside WordPress sites. Edge Studio, Solve, morphsites and Framework Design are web agencies that list branding among their services. The entries say which is which, and we say where branding is a smaller part of the portfolio.
The order follows fit first: how central brand work is to what the agency sells and how closely its portfolio matches what a branding buyer needs. After that we looked at what each agency can show, meaning measured results, published prices, a named team and stated terms. This is desk research from public sources only, and we have not hired any of them. More on how we choose agencies.
1. Drummond Central

Drummond Central is an independent, employee-owned creative and brand agency in Newcastle upon Tyne, founded in 2004, with about 57 people listed on its people page. It works mainly on advertising-led brand campaigns for Greggs, bet365, Woodford Reserve and HelloFresh, and has in-house motion graphics. It suits large brands that want campaign-scale ideas and assets from one agency, and it does not suit a website project.
What they do best
- Recognised campaign craft. It is credited on a Clio Sports 2024 Bronze for bet365 (Clios winners gallery) and claims 30 or more awards in three years.
- Measured awareness lifts. The Fentimans study reports quality of awareness rising from 38% to 43%, and the Greggs and Nigella campaign reports reach of 37 million (92% of UK adults) with 70% campaign awareness (YouGov).
- A named leadership team. The site names its managing director, executive creative director, planning and creative directors.
Where they fall short
- No web work and no prices. It has no web design or development service page and publishes no prices, so it suits campaign budgets and not small identity projects.
- Undated measurement. The dates of its awareness measurements are not stated.
- No client testimonials. None describes how projects were run.
2. Toast Design

Toast Design is a Banbury design agency of about 15 people, founded in 1997. It produces branding, logo, packaging and report design and also builds WordPress and WooCommerce sites, mainly for food and drink and charity clients. It suits small and mid-sized organisations that want brand and web work with prices stated up front. Its pricing label reads “Base rate £60 an hour; WordPress builds from £2,500”.
What they do best
- Brand work with a price list. Brand identity design starts at £960 and logo and brand design at £1,440 as minimum charges.
- Fixed-scope quotes. Projects are quoted at a fixed cost against a fixed scope.
- A deep portfolio and direct access. The portfolio lists 133 items, including The National Archives, Kohler and the Elton John AIDS Foundation, and clients work directly with designers, developers and a creative director, with no account managers.
Where they fall short
- No measured results. Its portfolio pages describe the work but give no outcomes, so a buyer cannot judge the effect of a rebrand from the site alone.
- No confirmed award. None was found on an organiser’s list, and the DBA membership it holds is not an award.
3. Edge Studio

Edge Studio is a Sheffield web design and development studio of five named people, founded in 2016. It lists custom builds, branding, app design and SEO for charities, universities and small businesses. It suits organisations that want a brand refresh bundled with a new site, and published price bands. Its pricing label reads “Multipage sites from around £3,500 to £9,000 (ex. VAT)”. The label covers websites and not branding.
What they do best
- Price and process openness. It publishes price ranges by site type, a 20% deposit with phased payments and a six-stage process, and prints its company number and address.
- Recognisable clients. Clients named include the University of Sheffield, Wren Kitchens and Citizens Advice Sheffield.
- A named team. An account manager, lead developer and content writer are listed.
Where they fall short
- Branding is a side service. It is one service among several.
- No per-client numbers. The only figures are agency-wide, such as 97% client retention.
- Home-based team. The team works from home offices, with a shared Sheffield space for meetings on request.
4. Solve

Solve is a B Corp certified agency in Newquay, run since 1998. It lists branding and logo design alongside web design, SEO, AI search and paid media. It suits businesses that want brand, web and search together and value sustainability credentials. Its pricing label reads “From £599 + VAT per month (SEO care package)”, which covers SEO and not branding.
What they do best
- Published SEO prices. An SEO audit from £595 + VAT and monthly SEO from £599 + VAT are published.
- A phased process. The SEO process is set out in stages, with a team page and a company number.
- Named client results. Its results page names clients such as The Goat Agency, Headland Hotel and Weetwood Ales.
Where they fall short
- No baselines. Its results pages quote percentage gains and time windows but no starting figures, so the size of each gain cannot be judged; Padstow Sealife Safaris is cited at 292% organic traffic in 12 months.
- No brand prices. None are published.
- An unchecked award claim. It describes itself as multi-award-winning, but we found no organiser’s listing.
5. morphsites

morphsites is a Somerset web development and digital marketing agency with a team of 35 or more and offices in Ilminster, London and Toronto. It lists branding and logo design among bespoke builds, ecommerce, UX, SEO and PPC. It suits businesses that want a brand, a bespoke site and search and paid work from one supplier. Its pricing label reads “From £1,250 per month + VAT (SEO, PPC and AI visibility retainer)”.
What they do best
- An anchored commercial result. Coombe Farm Organic went from £0 to over £1.2m a year within 24 months.
- Recent case studies. About a dozen include WilkinsonEyre, Legend, Gregory Distribution and PenCarrie.
- Company details in view. The site names its directors and prints its company number.
Where they fall short
- No build prices. Web design and development prices are not published.
- Results without baselines. A 400% rise for TBG and over 1,100% for Raceworld give no baseline or time window.
- Branding is not the headline. The site claims awards but names none we could check.
6. Framework Design

Framework Design is a Nottingham branding and web agency of about 15 people. It builds WordPress, WooCommerce, Laravel and Drupal sites and lists branding and motion design. Its portfolio includes the FA Women’s Leagues, Netball Super League, Team17 and National Gas. It suits sport, gaming and media clients that want brand-led design and a website from one team.
What they do best
- Recognised design craft. Awwwards lists an Honorable Mention (2023) for its Tokenate site on the organiser’s own profile.
- A deep portfolio. The case-study archive runs to five pages.
- A published process. It sets out a six-step process and names its managing, technical and creative directors.
Where they fall short
- No prices. A buyer cannot judge cost before a call.
- No measured results. None appears in any of its case studies.
- Unconfirmed awards. The other awards on its about page were not found on organiser lists.
7. 93FT

93FT is a Sheffield design studio of about 15 people covering brand, packaging, commercial interiors and WordPress and Shopify websites. Its portfolio centres on hospitality, heritage and sport clients such as Chatsworth, Dakota Hotels and Basketball England. It suits a hospitality or heritage brand that wants brand, interior and web design from one studio.
What they do best
- Breadth of design disciplines. About 47 project pages show recognisable clients including Blenheim, Hay Festival and Kew Gardens, and a new project was added in October 2026.
- A named studio team. The studio page names designers, developers and the heads of brand, interior and digital.
Where they fall short
- No prices. It publishes no prices or budget guidance.
- No recent confirmed awards. None of its listed awards is a confirmed win from the last five years.
- Thin results. Dakota Hotels reports website users up 28.5% within a matter of weeks without a baseline, and the company number is not printed.

What branding actually costs
Only one agency here publishes brand prices, so most comparisons come from quotes. Toast Design’s brand identity design from £960 and logo and brand design from £1,440 are minimum charges. A larger scope costs more, and the page does not say how much. Drummond Central and 93FT publish no prices, and Edge Studio’s bands cover websites.
Before you compare quotes, check whether each of these is included or extra:
- Strategy and positioning. Research, naming and messaging are separate from visual identity at many agencies.
- Brand guidelines. A logo file and a full guidelines document are different deliverables.
- Collateral and packaging. Print, packaging and signage are often priced per item.
- Motion and campaign assets. Drummond Central and Framework Design list motion work separately.
- Website. A new identity usually needs a site update, which Drummond Central does not offer.
- Rights and revisions. Ask how many rounds are included and who owns the files.
As a rough guide (our estimate), a logo and basic identity from a small UK studio costs from the low thousands, while campaign-scale brand work from a large agency runs far higher. Where an agency on this page publishes nothing, its entry above says so, and any figure we give is our estimate and not a quote.
FAQ
Look at finished identities for clients of your size and sector, and ask what changed after launch. Then check who does the work. Drummond Central names its creative directors, Toast Design says clients work directly with designers, and 93FT names a 15-person team. Ask what the quote includes beyond a logo: guidelines, packaging and the website.
Only Toast Design publishes brand prices, with brand identity design from £960 and logo and brand design from £1,440 as minimum charges. The others quote after a conversation. Any wider market range in this article is our estimate, and campaign-led agencies charge on a different scale from small design studios.
A branding agency usually covers strategy, positioning and identity; a brand design agency focuses on the visual identity, logos and guidelines. On this page, Drummond Central works at campaign level with strategy and ideas, while Toast Design, 93FT and Framework Design are design-led studios.
It helps if the brand has to work on screen from day one. Edge Studio, Solve, morphsites, Toast Design, 93FT and Framework Design all build sites. Drummond Central does not list web design, so a website would be a second supplier.
