I'm Desmond Achebe. I've been a design lead and then a creative director, mostly on brand and web builds for companies between Series A and a few hundred people. On this site I review the craft: I open the agency's shipped work, not their case study screenshots, and check the things that separate a portfolio from a product. Does the type system hold at small sizes. Did the build match the comps or quietly drift. Is the thing accessible. Agencies are very good at presenting work and much less good at maintaining it, and the difference is visible if you go and look.
